The ad, which features strips of bacon sailing through a blue sky, urges readers to “get your bacon on.” Now, I don’t know that I need to get my bacon on, per se, but a different type of artisan bacon every month sure as hell sounds like a good idea to me. What’s more, you even get a membership card and “a little rubber toy pig.” The catch? A year’s worth of streaky goodness is $140 plus shipping, which the fine print says can range from $50 to $150 per year, depending on where you live.
